Rangers Crush Panthers 5-0!

Hank got his 8th shutout, but the big story is Jaromir Jagr may be waking up. He scored a goal for the second night in a row. The other goals were scored by Avery, Malik, Straka (much needed) and Dawes. They really dominated most of the game and Hank didn't face much strife, though he did make some big saves. The Rangers don't play again until Thursday, at which point they may have a new player of two. Go Rangers!

He has a cannon of a shot, but I am not sure I like his big cap number at that age. I know Boyle would cost more but like his game better. I heard we will try to make multiple moves possibly sending Straka out of here along with Malik

Forsberg to Colorado per TSN

not sure yet...i would have to guess prucha/malik/montoya but only and only if we get to sign boyle long term

I think that is an acceptable package if we sign him. From what you are hearing how close is this to being done?

Do you like this potential move Dan?

Well heres the problem...TB really wants to sign boyle to an extension but the money and years isnt really working out...so they set a deadline sometime tonight to either take the deal if he does then he stays and if he doesnt he gets traded...how close to it being done lets just say if he says NO to extension he will be traded fast and it might be to a different team but he wants to go to the rangers and he has a NTC so that helps

In essence he can force TB's hand. With Montoya they get a potential goalie of the future. Malik is an expiring contract and Prucha could grow into a nice player for them. I have been hearing all along that Sather wants Boyle, and he wants to come here. It's going to be a fun next 24 hrs or so.

NHL Network comes on at 8 am tomorrow with TSN from Canada feed.
