The Giants Go 0-2

This is the nightmare scenario many of us envisioned at the end of last season when no coaching change was made, and a nothing one year extension was granted to Tom Coughlin. The players have not learned the new D, and may not be good enough to ever learn it. Valiant efforts by Eli Manning were undone by idiotic penalties taken by Shockey and Toomer. Shockey also hurt the cause with three big drops. I don't know if another coaching staff would have had any better results, but it's easier to watch a new staff rebuild than watch and old staff that doesn't have a full grip on the team lose game after game.

It's not going to get any easier either. This could be a long long season.

Belichik resigned with NE so there goes that plan if there was one.
