Knicks Keep Rocking the SL

The Knicks crushed China tonight in their second summer league game. The unit of Balkman, Nate, Morris, Chandler and Nichols is electric at times, and though no one is logging more than 26min's per game, each of them is filling up the stat sheet with a broad range of contributions. Balkman is all over the place and is a good outside shot away from being something really special. Even without the shot, he ignites the teams with steals, blocks, boards, and dunks. He's fearless so he gets to the line a lot, but he really needs to shoot better than 50% there.

Wilson Chandler is a little bigger than Balk, and may even be more athletic, he almost bashed his head on the rim tonight as he dunked at the end of a perfect three man play with Nate and Balk. The one thing that Wilson does much better than Balkman and Ariza before him is shoot the rock. He truly has a sweet j and seems to have faith in it.

Nichols was under the weather, but he too can shoot lights out and was 3-3 from the 3 pt. line in limited minutes.

So far so good for the young Knicks.
