Down on the Farm

Earlier tonight, in the 5th inning of their FSL High A game, Austin Jackson and Jose Tabata hit back to back homers! Here comes the power.

UPDATE: Jackson, Tabata and Marcos Vechionacci created the game winning run in Tampa today with three singles in the bottom of the 10th. Good stuff!

I'd prefer to watch the Tampa Yankees. Or the 20 over .500 Trenton Thunder.

You know you can always listen to Trenton and often Tampa on milbradio on your computer, don't you?

You have my phone number? Why do I think you might. . .

Can Tampa take 2+ years of the Yankees not being very good?

The Tampa group is more concerned with making sure they get dinner before Jeopardy these days.

So Rubenstein's on autopilot? Every 25 sh*tty games or so he sends a strongly worded memo, but nothing else will come of all the losing?

I think they'll announce a trade soon, and I'd imagine the leash on Torre is short. If, for example, they lose tomorrow, I think he could be gone.

Girardi was gonna take that Baltimore job, then all of a sudden he turned it down...

I hope whatever trade they do announce does not give away any of the core.
