Chandler a Knick, too
The Knicks used the #23 pick to take run/jump/score and play D guy Wilson Chandler from DePaul. They are apparently done for tonight, but have a lot more to do this offseason.

excellent!! I apologize as I was traveling today for not catching up with the thread. My new Ranger guy told me big time offer for Gomez is coming... Not knowing I think its better then 50 that we get Lewis as I know he wants out of Seattle, and it appears they don't want any part of him.
like i said about gomez, unless something sudden comes from a different team, he will be a ranger
all I've heard for Gomez is the Rangers.
There are a lot of trades tonight. I have also heard that we are going to make a big push for someone on D. Souray's name has been tossed around but that will depend on how we will our Center holes.

I was hoping to get Webster in the Randolph deal.
That would have been icing on the cake as far as I am concerned. This should make Curry more productive. Getting Lewis would only add to it.
Im pumped about Randolph, even though a lot of fans are being lame and saying randolph sucks, so im guessing they dont want watch basketball...i like almond but i guess i have to settle for chandler
about gomez, if he signs i dont know if its gonna be right after midnight on saturday or a couple days afterwards
I like Randolph two. We're a great rebounding team and he made us even better. Plus he gets to the line and hits them! If we had been better at the line last year we would have won ten more games and made the playoffs.
I am surprised Channing was able to yield us Randolph. I agree anyone who says he is no good, does not follow basketball closely enough. He is going to be a big time rebounding presence.
I think the NHL actually starts at 12pm noon on the July 1. I would expect to see a flurry of activity quickly. I have also heard tonight that Handzus is being considered as a replacement for Nylander. Ideally they want Gomez and Drury selling them on the tandem idea to sign for a little less. Drury has been saying he is interested in playing for NYR, and that it's not a given he will go out west. If we get both I will be extremely excited, but will not expect it.
If we get Gomez and Drury we're going to the finals. Especially if we move another old defender and let both Staahl and Sauer or Baranka make the team.
I like your Craw/Nate/Malik for Lewis idea Phil. If Zeke pulls that off give him exec of the year!
Baranka should have made the team last year over Malik. He has a great shot. Sauer is solid as well Staal is going to get a real shot that is for sure. I don't want to get too excited, but I can say for sure that we definitely would like to sign both.
Fred Jones IS an expiring contract.
Rothstein expects Dickau and Jones to be bought out.

can't go down till July, Rashard opted out of his deal and he's a free agent.
Even better, so we could be talking come Saturday at midnight then. I am hoping both braintrusts at 33rd and 7th are real busy this weekend.
Side note Phil. Cash today on the radio backed up everything you have said. Hughes,Bentaces,Joba,Ian, and he named a few others are going nowhere. He did not give Joe a vote of confidence either.

dan, they saw him somewhere,cause he cancelled all of his other workouts for us. A few years ago, they came out here and worked Frye and no one knew about it.
i think Knicks made another trade of 2008 draft pick(2nd) for Demetrius Cook
