Rest in Peace, Johnny Sain

An NL MVP starter for the old Boston Braves, then a great starter/swingman/closer for the Yanks, Johnny probably also the greatest and most influential Pitching Coach in baseball history. Rest in peace to a forward thinker. In Boston, where the Braves had been historically bad, they came up with Sain and Warren Spahn after WWII and finally had a chance. Their catch phrase was, "Spahn and Sain and pray for rain." Today we pray for Johnny, his family and all who feel his loss.
