My Greatest 100 (or so) Albums...

The All Time Greatest Hits of Roy Orbison (Monument, 1972) . Ever been sad? Roy has. Ever been lonely? Roy has. Every cried? Roy has. Collected here are all the hits of his original prime (I would argue that he had a hell of comeback in the 1980's both solo and with the Travelling Wilbury's). This is some of the greatest and at times most haunting music ever made. "In Dreams", "Running Scared", "Cryin", "Pretty Woman" they're all here. I hope someday someone compiles the stuff that he did in the `80's before his sudden death. Roy was amazing.
