Knicks Win! Knicks Win! Knicks Win!

Quentin Richardson had a great night after missing a game with a strained hammy and Eddy Curry came through big when they got him the ball in the 4th quarter. All the guards had their moments and mysteries. In fact, Francis was having a terrific game until he missed a pair of free throws and tossed an airball at crunch time. The Knicks blew a lead in the third, but came all the way back to win by 3. Well done! Here's the boxscore!

Crawford would be perfect at crunch time, but he is a little nuts.

Rich, what's buggin' ya other than the Giants, the Rangers and the Knicks?

The bidding thing.

Of the teams you mentioned, the Giants hurt the most because expectations were so high.

These days, every Knick win is a pleasant surprise.

The bidding thing is gonna work out, and yeah, the Giants are killing me. Did you see the Phil Hughes link?

The only links I click on are ads.

Yes, Hughes is the most compelling reason to follow the team.

I would still consider Zito if he would take a five year deal, and would have rather taken Mussina's contract, the posting fee, and the subsequent contract and invested it in him.

I think some of the kids are gonna set the world on fire and I don't want to clog the roster. Now that we have Igawa, I don't want to give anyone a 5 year deal. I still want to trade Pavano to the Nats.

If they would live with the growing pains that come with accelerating development by putting a kid in MLB, I would be fine with it, but since they won't, the top of the rotation has holes that could really cost them, and I will have to be convinced that Igawa can be anything but a fifth starter or worse.

We'll have Phil Hughes by June or so, and that's the most exciting thing about the upcoming season for me. The kids are getting close and none of these FA pitchers have particularly excited me. I also want to see how Chamberlain moves next year and how fast they let Dellin Betances move.

Padilla?

This is why I'm so opposed to Igawa. Two mediocre pitchers blocking the kids.

I read an analysis of Igawa that projected he'd be Andy Pettitte in his prime over here.
