Rangers Lose 4-2

Well, after three off days of line juggling and soul searching, the Rangers came out looking bad and lost 4-2 at home. The defense is horrendous and Lundqvist is giving them no margin for error so far. Rachunek and Rozsival both had hideous giveaways in the Ranger zone that led to two of the goals. A power play screw up led to the first (when Malik's incompetence drew two other Rangers to his spot and gave the Panthers all sorts of open ice to play with). The fourth goal came on a rebound that was successfully batted by a man that the Rangers were unable to slow on his way to the net. I have no faith in Renney, and no faith the Rangers can compete at all with a still not 100% Jagr, a shakey Lundqvist, and a pathetic defense. This is gonna be a long roadtrip. I only wish there was a brain somewhere at the Garden that could see the problems and pull the trigger on some fixes.
