Giants Game Night!

The Giants have a huge game against the Dallas Cowboys on MNF tonight, it's on ESPN these days. Don't miss it. The Giants should be able to beat this team, because the Cowboys have a poor offensive line and an immobile quarterback in Drew Bledsoe. The mismatch favors the Giant DL, and that's why the Giants have to watch out for all sorts of delayed draws, screens and TRICK PLAYS! I'm talking flea flickers, option passes, reverses, double reverses, fake punts, fake field goals, onside kicks where you wouldn't expect them, direct snaps to people who aren't immobile, center sneaks, etc. etc. They will also try some three step drops and hope for YAC out Owens and Glenn. The Giants need to bring pressure right up the gut to make them take deeper drops. If they play contain against those like they did against Vick last week, and attack Bledsoe up the middle, they should have great luck. Bledsoe gets emotional and makes mistakes when frustrated or battered. If the Giants can do both, they should really limit the Cowboys.

On O, it's really important that the Giants get off to a good start. The Cowboy D really stymied the Giants in both games, and Eli didn't get hot till late. We can't afford that this year with first place at stake. The Giants need to eliminate turnovers and procedural penalties. They need to establish the run and set up play action. That means they have to do what they did last week in the second half against Atlanta. That's Giant football and if they play it, they should win.
