Baker Moved to the Exempt List

                             

Troubled CB Deandre Baker was moved to the Exempt list today. This means he won't take up a roster space if and until the Commisioner clears him to rejoin the team. This takes any immediate decision out of the hands of the Giants. The Giants may or may not cut 9 players to get down to 80 to start camp. There's an alternative plan undewhich the Giants would be able to keep 90 players, but split the squad for the first few weeks. We'll see what they choose. The rest of the eligible players are to report tomorrow. 

UPDATE: Andrew Thomas has signed.  The only pick who hasn't signed yet is Xavier McKinney, but he may have and it just hasn't been published yet.

UPDATE 2: The Giants have opted do keep 90 players and do the split squad split practices thing until August 16, when they will get down to 80. Looks like they only have 89 now, so they might add a guy,
