Yanks Take Series from Dodgers

The Yanks really should have swept this series but for the shenanigans at second by the Dodgers yesterday.  That seemed to annoy the Yanks and Boone gave the umps an earful before today's rubber game. That may have had an effect as a Dodger who ran right in front of Sanchez while he was muffing a pop-up was called out by the ump. The Dodger then hit Didi under the right shoulder.  So his replacement, Mike Ford, hit a homer and doubled as the Yanks won 5-1.  German gave up a homer to the first batter of the game but that was it, and this was a playoff environment.  Nice work.  Judge homered for the third game in a row and the Yanks need this version of their best player for the rest of the year.  Anyway, huge series win for the Yanks after not looking like the Yanks in Oakland.
