Giants Add OT Brian Mihalik From the PSquad

Okay, the Giants have now waived Ereck Flower and elevated Brian Mihalik from for the practice squad to take his place.  They probably should have cut bait on Flowers last offseason, but the market was crummy and after signed Solder and Omameh, they probably didn't have much cap left. Flowers was physical marvel, but ultimately for one reason or another, he was unreachable or unteachable by 3 different Giant OL coaches. Flaherty, whom he hated, is now coaching the good line down in Jacksonville. Mihalik, in the meantime, started a few games for the Lions and originally played for Chip Kelly in Philly, so Shurmur knows him.

Eli is a bad fit for this bad OL. They screwed him again, but this can’t continue.

Was always gonna be a 2 year fix.

Then they should be playing another qb, imo.

In some ways, they are worse than last year which could make this fix more than two years.

What do you have to lose by putting Lauoetta in? If last night didn’t make it crystal clear to Mara nothing ever will.. I hope they make some trades to get picks prior to the deadline, get rid of some of the higher priced guys that won’t likely be here long term.

I think they are a top quarterback and at least two more great drafts away.

The problem is the owner. He allowed Reese to ruin the career of the best QB in franchise history by not fixing the OL in over 5 years.

He inexplicably fired Coughlin and not Reese.

He stuck with Manning this year after deciding to agree to end his streak.

It’s all incoherent.

That’s why I don’t blame OBJ for his outburst on ESPN. Eli said nothing and watched his career burn I don’t blame Beckham for fearing something similar. Although granted he took their money.

Sticking with Eli. What a cf of a franchise.
