Full rebuild!!! Any reader of the blog knows my distaste for AV, so we are in full agreement there. It's only money. Fire his ass now!!!
I'm only speaking for myself, but it's hard to care about them anymore.
Unfortunately, they have to take a serious look at goaltending, but Lundqvist's contract would be very difficult to trade. They drafted several goalies recently -- are any of them showing promise?
Stot, supposedly they have some potential with at least one of them. I myself go to Hank and say look where do you want to go?
It's obvious he's not winning here. They owe him that...
AV is terrible. Dominated that series and we lost in 6, pathetic. Glass playing in an elimination game is cringeworthy.
Staal is done. Need to fix the blue line badly, Smith/Holden/Staal killed us that series and our inability to hold a lead was gut wrenching.
Hopefully major changes are ahead.
Thanks and agreed! He's been great, but I don't think he can carry a team to the Cup and that's what you need in a goalie.
It all starting going downhill with the MSL trade, and accelerated with Yandle. I hate that supposed "thinking."
Is it time to cut ties with Hank??
