Yanks Win
The Yanks got back to their winning formula of good pitching and homers to win yet another game. Tanaka was sharp again and if not for a mistake to Bryce Harper, would have gone seven scoreles. Ace. But Girardi couldn't leave well enough alone, while Chasen Shreve was pitching with 2 out in the 9th and a 6-1 lead, he walked a guy. So, Girardi pullled him and used Miller in a 5 run game. He's got to let these kid relievers work through they're mistakes, or they're going to waste the kids and blow up Betances and Miller. Just a terrible job by Girardi.

Having worked for Torre should be a per se disqualifier for any prospective manager. The irony is that Cashman rightly grew tired of Torre yet hired a manager who in some ways is a Torre clone.
So stupid -- After ball 4, which could have easily have been strike 3, I saw Girardi at the top of the steps and turned it off cause I knew what was going to happen.
On a more positive note, Flores played great defense and had some hits, Drew has been on fire lately after he fixed a hole in his swing and McCann is starting to show he was worth that contract.
Btw, Teix baserunning could have potentially cost us the game by him not tagging on Beltran's line drive. Luckily Desmond bailed us out an inning later and McCann put them away with his 2 rbi double.
Flores was just sent down for Ryan. Meanwhile, Rogers and Capuano still have spots.
Girardi'd!
Weird that Flores was sent down.
So confused at this roster construction -- 4 middle infielders? what is the point
Lindgren man -- can't do that.
Robertson struggled early in his Yankee career.
Since I can't think of any place else to put this:

The Knicks would be fools not to take this kid.
