However, if this is all they do, and do not trade anyone of significance from the Farm, I will be satisfied. I would rather they trade Robertson, trade Kuroda to the Dodgers (I think Hirok will agree to that one) and trade McCann, if possible, even if you have to eat 3-4 million a year, to an NL team. I know that won't happen, but hey - I can dream!!

Unlike some, I don't think Cashman is a moron. If he trades for Price, that opinion will change.
He's got to recognize that power lefties who are losing velo aren't good investments.
Gun to my head: I would have rather emptied the farm for Cespedes.
It's not that Cashman is a moron. He's average and has been here way too long. That produces harmful biases. Like saying that Melky is a 4th OFer.
But yeah, just caught a moment of Sweeny on a break and he is saying Price is possible.

My first sentence was meant to say that I prefer big hitters to almost any pitcher, with exceptions like Kershaw, of course, but not Price.

Cespedes has good power, obviously, but he doesn't get on base enough to warrant giving up the farm.

I am saying that I value him over Price. That's all. I wouldn't trade the farm for him in isolation.

OMG, Sweeny is an idiot. He like Byrd. Given his age and contract, there is no one I want less.
