Rangers Fall Behind 3-1

You can't win playoff games when your best players don't play well.  And you can't go very far in the playoffs if your best players aren't that good anymore.   Rick Nash and and Martin St. Louis have made no impact in this series.   Hank has been less than spectacular.  McD and Stepan both look like they're hurt.    This is a bad recipe.    Stranger things have happened than a team coming back from down 3-1, but their are no signs this one will turn around. When they got within a goal tonight, they immediately gave up another.  They just gave themselves no chance to win.   And they spent a hell of a lot on both Nash and St. Louis.  And for what?

Sather has been living off the ability to sign the best players Pocklington's money would buy for 35 years, but the cable-billionaire's son can't see that.

No, he can't. He's also had a knack for acquiring players with bad concussion histories. Lindros, Richards, Nash..
