Rangers Clock Flyers 4-1
The Rangers came out like a house on fire and put three goals on the board in the first. Carcillo scored his first, unassisted, Nash scored from Kreider and McDonagh, and Brassard scored from MDZ. In the second, more dominance and Kreider scored his 12th on a power play. The Rangers have now scored PP goals in 5 straight. Unthinkable under Torts. Then the Rangers did the one thing they really can't do. They took their foot off the gas. That lead to a Flyer goal in the 4th and the Rangers just trying to kill the clock. The Flyers got chippy but Carcillo and John Moore handled it. John Moore has now looked impressive in all three of his Ranger fights. Hank was mostly brilliant and allowed nothing in the first two periods while the Rangers built an insurmountable lead. He seems to be getting there, folks, and so do the Rangers. They need to keep it going and remember not to look at the clock or get back on the heals when they have a lead. Play sixty minutes. Let's Go, Rangers!
