McAdoo Interviews Today

Sullivan, Loggains, and Dorrell have all interviewed, and there's been no indication of how any of this meetings went.   Today Ben McAdoo is coming in and this could lead to some announcements.  The big question is will the Giants go away from their own coaching trees?  If they are willing to, I'd expect them to go with McAdoo, who has been sought after around the league for the past few years. Of course, the Browns could still name him head coach and that would foil that plan.

If they do hire McAdoo, I expect them to at least try to bring back Mike Sullivan to be Eli's QB coach.  If he refuses, I could see them offering it to Loggains or Dorrelll.  These guys all need jobs, and I still think we're hiring two.

If by the end of the day McAdoo hasn't blown them away, I'd expect them to sit tight and interview more candidates from whichever teams are eliminated this weekend.     But I have a feeling they're going to like McAdoo.  He has a reputation as a great offensive mind, and I think Tom Coughlin would love talking football with him.  There's some concern that he hasn't called plays before, but that can be solved by having whoever is the new QB coach do it, all three of the other candidates do seem to have called plays before.  At the same time, if McAdoo is as bright as they say, why not let him do it?

UPDATE: McAdoo stuck in weather.  Not happening today.
