Of Course You QO Granderson

Holy Frijoles.  The buzz in the papers today is that the Yanks are still debating whether or not to give Curtis Granderson a qualifying offer.     This is a no-brainer.   Of course you give him one.   Even if someone else doesn't sign him, you get a year where he'll prove health and hit 35 bombs.    Oh no!   Great problem to have.  And at this point, the Yanks have become expert at collecting insurance reimbursements for their injured stars.   QO the man!   Maybe you'll get another first!

In fact, Granderson leaving is probably the Yanks best chance at getting another first in a draft that is supposed to be deeper than usual.  

Btw, it wouldn't surprise me at all if the Yanks let Grandy go, then blow their first on some outside FA, so they have no first round picks, then, after the draft hear them claim they were comfortable signing McCann or whoever and losing their first because it was such a deep draft.

This is sort of scary.  Are they really this dumb?  And if they are, how did Hal get in to Williams?  Also, will we ever win again?
