Yankee Begins Their Meetings

Brian Cashman and the New York execs are down in Tampa meeting with the Steinbrenners and and their former brother-in-law.   Subjects on the table are: the farm system; player development; the draft; scouting in general; the offseason plan; trade targets and free agency;  what to give Cano; and budgets.     That's a lot and there seems to be no timetable for announcements and if they decide to reassign any execs, they may not announce it.   Whatever happened to Gordon Blakely. anyway?    We'll have to see if anything productive or clever happens.   Clever seems needed.
