What's With Choo?

So, the Yanks finally may be interested in Sin Soo Choo.    For years, I have wanted them to trade for Choo.   He gets on base and his lefty swing in perfect for Yankee Stadium.    However; now's just not the right time; unless he doesn't get a QO from the Reds; which seems bloody unlikely.   Choo will be 32 and you just can't trade the 18th pick in the draft for a 32 year old who could begin his decline phase at any minute.   It's a shame they didn't get him earlier, but like Beltran and McCann, now's not the time.   Instead, they should figure out how to develop hitters that get on base and have some pop again.
