New York Giants Sign Curry

Speaking of Linebackers, the Giants today have reportedly come to terms with Aaron Curry, the #4 overall pick in the 2009 Draft.   Jerry says he can play Mike or Sam for the Giants so that probably means they harbor no illusions that's this tight hipped "bust" will be a 3 down player for them.  He's a big backer, who was known for jarring hits at Wake, but was an overdraft at #4, and has had injuries and ineffectiveness in college.  Combined with Rivers that gives the Giants a former #4 and #5 overall pick at LB.   Let's see if we can get any production.   It's funny the Raiders used to be the team that rejuvenated busted #1's.  I believe he was originally taken by the Seahawks, but most recently played for the Raiders.   Let's hope for the best.
