Day 2

This is the biggest day of the draft and it's a day where the Yanks have made hay under Damon Oppenheimer. We've already talked about Mason Williams last year, but 5 years ago we get Dellin Betances and David Robertson during what are now the day 2 rounds of the 2006 draft. Last year the Yanks took a number of signability kids on day 2 and mixed those picks in with some really productive college hitters and relievers. I expect them to do the same today, and that one of the signability kids will be a catcher and a few will be left handed pitchers. Go Yankees!
