Callahan Re-Ups With the Rangers!
The Rangers, today, avoided arbitration with Ryan Callahan by reaching a multi-year contract extension with the young, core member of the new generation Rangers. Seems like it was something that should have been taken care of already, but it got taken care of today. Zherdev, Dubinksy and Korpikoski remain unsigned.

Dubi and Korpi will be signed, and Z will be traded imo.
I think so, too.
Depending on the return I have liked the off-season so far. The Brashear move does not bother me as much as it did at first. Kotalik is a PP specialist. Having seen him in Buffalo he can shoot and do not think this was Redden-esque as some may.
I'm still thinking Z goes with Rosz for a either a Centerman/top D or picks/prosects.
supposedly we have interest in Babchuk? Carolina fans say he has a good shot from the blue-line. I say if so expand it and go for Ruutu as well.
It sounds like we're just one of a bunch of teams in on him.
