Yanks Win!

Mo got a four out save, but the big thing tonight was that AJ Burnett won without his best stuff. A few weeks ago the theory was that AJ didn't have the internal resources to get by when he didn't have his plus plus fastball and curve. He had a pretty good fastball tonight, but his curve was missing, yet he still managed to give the Yanks six innings of two run ball, and that was enough tonight. Coke gave up a homer to Mauer in the 7th, but Hughes and Mo brought it home and the Yanks won 4-3. They go for the sweep tomorrow afternoon behind Aceves. Go Yanks!
