Have We Promised Curry?

There are rumors circling the internet that the Knicks have promised Stephen Curry that they will draft him eigth. I love Stephen Curry. He is a legitimately great shooter and passer and has a better handle than most guys who can shoot like he can. He's a willing defender who needs coaching, but he dragged an undertalented Davidson team all ove the place as a sophomore and a junior. He'd be a great fit for Coach D'Antoni. However; much as I love Steph, I would be uncomfortable taking him unless we had another first rounder or two. Perhaps we can trade for, or buy more. A side benefit of getting Curry, though, is the fact that he is one of LeBron's best friends. The lottery drawing is May 19th, we'll find out then if we're 8th. Go Knicks!
