ARod Out 6-9 Weeks
Monday, Alex Rodriguez will undergo a less invasive surgery than the one he ultimately needs. Tomorrow's surgery will fix ARod's labrum, but won't address his bone on bone impingement. which will require further surger after the season. ARod will only miss 6-9 weeks, wich land him back in the line-up in late April or some time in May. It doesn't seem like the Yanks will need to make any prospect laden trades as a result. So that's a positive.

This is the best move as long as AROD can be healthy at post season. I was not happy with previous decision of no surgery. We can survive a month or more without his bat. We need him down the stretch.
