Nothing Cooking

According to all the the regular reporters, the Knicks have nothing cooking for the trade deadline. Now, MSG has been leak proof lately, but it's a little hard to believe that they wouldn't do anything given their trade pieces and future aspirations. There are about 48 hours left.

Berman in today's Post talks about Portland wanting Lee, but Donnie will only deal if they take Curry. I hope he is unable to unload both Curry and Jefferies prior to summer of 10. If he did one now and one this summer that would be great. preferably Curry. So maybe we may just do something after all..

Ford seems to think we could deal with the Kings..

Chad Ford: I know the Knicks and Kings spoke Monday about a deal with Brad Miller and Malik Rose as the principals. The talk never got too detailed. I think for the Knicks to pull the trigger Jared Jeffries has to be in the deal. For the Kings to do it, they'd like Nate Robinson back. I do think there is a deal there for both teams that makes sense. Kings get cap relief now. Knicks get it in 2010. I think ultimately, both sides say yes if they can work out the details.
