Rangers Acquire Wild Enforcer

The Rangers today completed a trade that sent waived forward Dan Fritsche to the Minnesota wild for big defenseman Erik Reitz. Reitz has played parts of 3 seasons with the Wild, but only logged 45 penalty minutes, which makes me thing I bought into the enforcer label too easily. This gives the Rangers one more bubble defender who is probably more valuable than Kalinin and Rozsival. I don't know what the cap implication is. And of course, what did we expect to get for Fritsche? Watch him play well for the Wild.
