Giants and Jake Getting Close?

Though the Giants season ended prematurely on Sunday, they are already working to lock up a key piece for next year and beyond. I'm hearing the Giants are close to re-signing their gianting halfback Brandon Jacobs. The terms will no doubt work of the dominant but sometimes dinged back as well as the Giants. Jacobs is a big key to the Giants' success. Simply put, when he is healthy and able to go, the Giants win. It's unknown what the Giant plans are for Ward, Bulter and some of the other FA's, and certainly some of the older vets like Madison and McQuarters will probably be cut for cap purposes. Two things; however, seem pretty certain: Jake will be back, and Eli will be extended. The Giants are going to reload this offseason and the first move looks like it will be Big Jake. Go Giants!

Good first start!!!! Phil do you think we will make a big play for Boldin with our extra picks? I think it's obvious need for a big time WR, are you a Housh fan? What options do you like?

I think they'll probably price Boldin and Braylon Edwards. I don't know if they'd consider Housh, who is getting up there.

Edwards or Boldin is exactly what we need, and I would approve either move as I trust Reese will not overpay.

Phil you think we look into Gonzalez again as MG suggests would be a good idea? I'd have to think that even if Plax returns Reese wants to make the O even more explosive and will add another weapon or two

If none of the big wideouts work out. The fact is, the Giants should be pretty excited about Boss and Darcy Johnson and along with Matthews they are all improving as blockers.
