According to Fox News, Mike Mussina is retiring. It's a shame he never got a ring with the Yankees, and only won 20 games once, but he is in my mind a sure fire Hall of Famer. He didn't just win 270 games, he won 270 playing exclusively in the AL East of the steroid and post-steroid era. A division people like Greg Maddox and Jake Peavy wanted no part of. But Mike ate it up and excelled. I will never forget his post season heroics and it is my sincere hope he goes into Cooperstown wearing a Yankee cap
