Yanks Win in Ten

In a game that saw Alex Rodriguez tie Mickey Mantle on the all time homer list at 536, it took a mamoth ab and two out single by recent call-up Brett Gardner to beat Laz Diaz and the Boston Red Sox tonight. Diaz made it interesting by calling strikes from Joba Chamberlain and David Robertson balls, but the Yanks were able to overcome a 4-2 deficit in the 7th then win it in the 10th on Gardners single off of Papelbon who had given up lead off single to Cano then gotten outs on Melky's sac bunt and Betemit's K. Gardner ground out the AB and won the game. That's two in a row. Go Yanks!
