Dogs Clobber Catfish

18 year old Abe Almonte had 4 hits including 2 homers in the Riverdogs sudden and overwhelming attack on Catfish pitching. Both Montero and Romine added 3 hits, and Wady Rufino added 5RBI's with a two run double, and a 3 run homer. Gabe Medina came in in the bottom of the 9th and gave up a garbage rally, but it was too little, too late. Here's the boxscore.

UPDATE: Yanks win 7-1, but ARod had to leave the game with a pulled quad. Let's hope this is a mild one. Pettitte was dynamite, Damon had a homer and got on base a few times, and Jeter is hitting like Jeter. Gotta get Giambi and Cano going now.
