100!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Alex Rodriguez knocked in his 100 run of the season tonight with a 9th inning single that helped put it in the icebox for the Yanks at KC. Clemens was exceptional allowing 2 runs over 7 innings. The O was a little balky, scoring two in the first, two in the second, then taking a long break before tacking on 5 in the 9th. They are the best team in baseball when they grind, and they can never shut it down early. Go Yanks!

Yup, he's looked like an elite set-up man since Mo started working with him. Mo should just be in charge of the pen.

the only thing i can get out of it is, were going after something big or were going for minor parts

I'm a little worried about Alan Horne tonight as I was told he was safe, but the pattern of promotions and demotions around him and Marquez makes me think they could be the centerpieces of a Texas deal.

Yea i dont really trust the yankees during this time of the year

I trust Cash at all times. I just don't think Teixiera was "hot" when I was told Horne was safe.

I heard his price went down a lot

So did I, which means the first part of the war has been won.

There was a story that the Yanks and Reds might be talking again, and that the Reds had people in Tampa tonight. I don't see them getting Tabata or Jackson so I don't know what they were doing in Tampa. Cash was there, too.

Good Morning Dan/Phil. Viz did look solid last night. Ideally I would like one more 8th inning option so we can give Viz a rest every so often. I what was going on with these meetings, but after reading the posts I have caught up.

If we get Tex we have to sign him long term.

What would be an acceptable price for Tex in your guys mind? Getting him makes our bench even deeper, but we cannot give up any of the
core.

Saw your post on Yankee forum George wants to make a big deal. This has me greatly concerned....

At 7:14 PM, Blogger Kalel9 said...

and so it should.

At 7:15 PM, Blogger Michael said...

I fear that parts of the core could be dealt...

At 7:16 PM, Blogger Kalel9 said...

what core? Cash isn't gonna do anything stupid or crazy.

The Joba/Hughes core. If George wants to make a big deal, one would think one of our young pitchers or position players would have to go.

Unless we can get Texiera for something less then that..

Joba and Hughes won't get traded. I'm a little worried for Horen and Tabata.

At 7:28 PM, Blogger Michael said...

Horne and Tabata could be what Texas wants for Tex?... I would not make that deal.

At 7:29 PM, Blogger Kalel9 said...

I wouldn't either. Wait till he's a free agent.

I agree wait till he is FA if they really want him.

I would make a move for a bat and get an arm for the pen, do not see the need for a Tex type trade.
