Are the Giants Missing Out?

So far the hottest news in Giant land is that they have upped their contract offer to Cold Pizza star and erratic kicker Jay Feely. At this point I wouldn't be surprised if all the free agents the Giants end up with - and they will end up with some - will be as fungible and sadly overpaid as Feely is about to become.

It's been a snoozefest in Giant land these days LOL!!!! How realistic is to think we are planning some moves for the draft? Possibly a big move up? Or even down and get more picks?

I think they are active, and I think we'll have half dozen moves made before the draft with cut rate fa's. Then I do expect them to try to get more picks, but I don't know if that would involve trading down for 20, where they are gonna get a great player, or trading guys like McQ, etc.

Very interesting times indeed. I await to see what kind of value Reese has on this draft. His potential trade moves either way should give us an indication of what his board may look like. Would it be the worst thing in the world to trade a great player? If the return was substantial? I wonder if Strahan could net us first rounder higher then what we have?

Why this picture, this is the worst picture this is when he missed his 8th field goal in a row

Well Dan, cause the headline is "Are the Giants MISSING Out?"

This is where they apparently are right now - in a bidding war over a non-elite kicker.

Yeah, or Rhodes, which might force him back to us.

Willis over Rhodes please

I'd prefer that, too. But I am not as against Rhodes as I was last week.

Hmmm so there is some possible trade Strahan talk, as I see over on BBI! Do you think it has any legit steam to it?
