Al Wilson In Town for his Physical

http://www.denverpost.com/ci_5505017

This makes a deal getting done today far more likely. I don't know what we gave up, though, and I hope we didn't overpay. This is a big test for Jerry Reese.

Hey anon, what name do I know you by?

i heard 4th rounder and swap of 1st round picks from 20 to 21

Where?

btw,I sense that that is correct.

At 12:35 PM, Anonymous Anonymous said...

i heard it on espn radio

At 12:35 PM, Blogger Kalel9 said...

That's probably correct, then.

At 12:39 PM, Anonymous Anonymous said...

Yes you do Phil. Michael 123 from big blue boards as well as the Yankee board :)

At 12:39 PM, Blogger Kalel9 said...

ah, thanks, M123.

No problem :) For what the deal is rumored to be are you satisfied? I do not think its too terrible myself..

At 12:41 PM, Blogger Kalel9 said...

I think it's much better than giving up Tuck, and I want to trade down from 21 anyway, so we'd likely get another 4...

At 12:53 PM, Anonymous Anonymous said...

I certainly agree by trading down we will make up the 4th no problem. Does this mean we will focus on WR or CB with our day one picks as it stands? Someone posted on BBI they predicted Bly, Wilson and Denver's 1st and 5th for our 1st 4th and Tuck and Gibril, not sure how realistic that is..

At 12:59 PM, Blogger Kalel9 said...

I don't think that's it at all.

I've thought for a long time we'd go WR in the first cause we are hiding Amani's actual condition.

At 1:08 PM, Anonymous Anonymous said...

Could an injury settlement be in the offing with Amani?

At 1:09 PM, Blogger Kalel9 said...

I doubt it, I think he'll be back at some point, just maybe never what he was, but they'll give him every chance.

His better years are definitely behind him not in front. A trade down now seems much more likely. If we trade McQ then even more picks our way...

At 1:20 PM, Blogger Kalel9 said...

Denver Post now says it's Tuck and the swap of firsts. This would piss me off.

At 1:21 PM, Anonymous Anonymous said...

Garafolo says the deal is off, what is going on????

At 1:22 PM, Blogger Kalel9 said...

He must have flunked his physical.

At 1:24 PM, Anonymous Anonymous said...

Ugh! so much for that

At 1:24 PM, Anonymous Anonymous said...

he must of really flunked it

At 1:25 PM, Blogger Kalel9 said...

I guess so.

At 1:26 PM, Anonymous Anonymous said...

Now Staple is confirming the same thing Garafolo has.

At 1:27 PM, Blogger Kalel9 said...

oh well. Deals are never done till they are done.

At 1:30 PM, Anonymous Anonymous said...

I wonder what the deal breaker was. Garafolo seems pretty adamant it wont happen period not just some stalling tactic.

At 1:36 PM, Anonymous Anonymous said...

Denver Post still has him traded for what that's worth.

At 1:37 PM, Blogger Kalel9 said...

he must have flunked his physical. After the Lavar and Emmons debacles, don't you see that they'd be really thorough?

At 1:44 PM, Anonymous Anonymous said...

Ken Hamlin signed with the cowboys, what a bad day so far...lol when are we gonna hear that Texans matched the sheet offer

At 1:45 PM, Blogger Kalel9 said...

I've heard from 1 source that it's not the physical, it's the compensation, so it may not be done - done.

At 1:47 PM, Anonymous Anonymous said...

tell u one thing if thats true, broncos are bunch of doo doo's

At 2:10 PM, Anonymous Anonymous said...

Now being reported that texans are gonna match Vontas offer sheet...and the supposed failed physical of wilson is now going to eagles to work out a deal with them

At 2:10 PM, Blogger Kalel9 said...

Not a good day for the Giants.

At 2:12 PM, Anonymous Anonymous said...
