My Greatest 100 (or so) Albums...

Marshall Crenshaw (1982) Marshall Crenshaw. This is one of the great debut albums. Crenshaw had played John Lennon in that phony Beatlemania, but here emerged as a really gifted songwriter. Someday, Someway, Cynical Girl, and Maryanne, are three of my favorite songs. He still makes good stuff today, when he feels like it, a really talented guy.
