Steve Spagnuolo is the New Giant DC
He has been an Eagle assistant since `99 at both DB and LB - just where we have our biggest problems. I love this move and it brings the Giant offseason record to 2-2 in my eyes. I think we've seen the last of Osi and Strahan in coverage! Go Spags!

I'm happy with this. Hopefully they can add some db's and a rotational tackle or 2, so spags can fully implement his pressure scheme. This hiring is the best news Webster could have gotten. I'm confident that Spags will iron him out and the talent will come through. The eagles corners had excellent technique and scheme understanding while he was their coach. This aggressive style will agree with Madison as well provided he's healthy.
It really is a surprisingly good move following on the heels of the Gilbride affront.
