My Greatest 100 (or so) Albums...

Songs in the Key of Life (Motown, 1976). Stevie's masterpiece. Stevie had kicked ass through the `70's with Talking Book, Music of my Mind, Innervisions, and Fulfillingness' First Finale, but Songs in the Key of Life topped them all. I'd put side two of disc one which features
"I Wish" (Wonder) – 4:12
"Knocks Me Off My Feet" (Wonder) – 3:36
"Pastime Paradise" (Wonder) – 3:27
"Summer Soft" (Wonder) – 4:14
"Ordinary Pain" (Wonder) – 6:23

up against anything that's ever been recorded. It's that good, and so's the whole collection. If you don't have it, ask for it for Christmas.

BTW, this and every CD I recommend, should be available through the Amazon CD Banner at the top of the Blog.
