Giants WIN 27-13!

Giants, behind 3 TD passes from Eli and over 100 yards rushing from Tiki finally won a game. The win moves them to 7-6, and keeps them in the thick of the wildcard race. Shockey had a good game, Plax was so-so, and Gibril Wilson and Kevin Dockery stepped up and made big plays when we needed them. Now, get Strahan back and beat Philly!

I'm conflicted about whether winning games and saving Coughlin's job is in the franchise's best interests.

Either way, what unfolds is out of my control.

Your point is valid. My concern is that there could be a ceiling on the what the Giants can achieve during Coughlin's tenure despite the talent, either because of his coordinators (whose competence or incompetence is imputed to him), or his capricious hard ass demeanor, which may prevent him from getting the most out of his players.

Any thoughts on The Pats cutting D. Gabriel?

I have loved this kids since his days in Oakland. He was always fighting for the 3rd WR spot. I say he has not seen the field enough with The Raiders nor The Pats.

With Toomer gone and the rest of the WR corp looking thin...I would hope this Staff takes a good hard look...

I have wanted this kid in Blue for the last 4 years....

We should at least kick the tires.

He has nothing but upside...He is a 4th year guy that has never been used in the right way. I feel he needs to be an every down WR.

Size, good speed, and a few years in the NFL...In Oakland he was always behind some of the greats and lost in the mix. I do admit that I didnt see much of his play in NE...

Not a huge numbers guy....but I think he could be....
