More Yanks
With as many as five teams calling (Az, SD, SF, LA, LAA) Cashmoney Green could be on the verge of dealing Randy Johnson. With a market like this I expect to be impressed with the haul. The rumors have us looking for young pitchers for Az or a Linebrink based deal from SD. I don't know what the Giants, Dodgers or Angels are offering, but I do expect all of this interest to amount to something. Depending on what we get this could lead to even more deals.

trade sooner or later
I'd think sooner, but we might not know for a week (though undoubtedly that would leak)when the offices of MLB re-open.
Linebrink was ineffective against RH hitters last seasons. That should cause the Cashman to focus on some other asset.
This deal has the potential to boost my confidence in him.
I expect a Shef-like haul. This could get really interesting as other deal possibilities emerge. I remember back in 2002 when we thought Cash had a great plan that Tampa wouldn't get out of his way for.
The Angels signed Hillenbrand. Phew.
I know, he's a GIDP waiting to happen.
Klapisch makes some interesting points about trading RJ and his disapppointing tenure here.
He does, though it's more that the ERA is creaky than the periphs. Seems they'll have something done by the end of the weekend.
