The Cold Stove

Baseball's Hot Stove has seeming grown cold as a nation (not this one or Japan) waits with baited breath to see if visionary Larry Lucchino and deep thinking Theo Epstein can get Matsuzaka on a Boston bound plane to take a physical and sign a Red Sox contract before the clock strikes 12 tomorrow night. I have no doubt this will get done, and have found a great deal of humor in the whole situation. That said, I wish the rest of baseball would quit sittng around and do something splashy.

Nah, nothing clutters the internet with nonsense like RSN when they feel they've been wronged.

With Schilling and Beckett as role models, Matsuzaka will never learn to play baseball the right way.

Score one for the Sox.

The Sox stole him.

I'm pissed.

Boras failed. That's okay, though. We can now have Clemens if we want him, Igawa will be even cheaper, and Hughes is gonna be better than Dice soon enough.
