Ted Lilly Redux for Yanks?

Ted Lilly's agent is making it sound like Lilly really wants to return to the Bronx. Fortunately, they don't expect any action there until the winning bid in the Kei Igawa sweepstakes is known. I don't think Lilly is quite what we're looking for. He's been giving 30 starts a year lately, but he doesn't give 200 innings a year. That translates into bullpen stress. Not what the Yanks need. I hope we win the Igawa lotto, because we'd have all the leverage there, and could probably get a 3 year deal, where Lilly requires 4 years. Worst case scenario is we get Lilly and he's a lefty Jarret Wright for 4 years and not two. Be slightly concerned, Yankee fans.

Torre tends to yank guys for giving up walks, and it really hurts our pen. Bringing up Hughes and Sanchez, will already tax the pen. Our vets need to give us 200 innings. That's something Lilly doesn't do.
