My Greatest 100 (or so) Albums...

"Martinis and Bikinis" by Sam Phillips (Virgin `94) is a superb and I fear overlooked album. From the opening ditty "Love and Kisses" through her cover of John Lennon's "Gimme Some Truth" the album rocks and rings with distinctive pop. From their are literally 13 great songs collected here including "Same Rain," "Baby I Can't Please You," "Strawberry Road," and "I Need Love." I think this album is every bit as good as Tapestry, which we will discuss at some point. Find this one if you haven't heard it.
