My Greatest 100 (or so) Albums...

Todd Rundgren's Something/Anything? was a brilliant state of the art pop double album from 1972. From "I Saw The Light" to "It Takes Two To Tango" to "Sweeter Memories" to "Hello It's Me" this is for the pop confectioneer. Sweeter stuff few would ever cook up. This is just a dazzling exhibition of what he could do in a studio, and he left some of that studio stuff on there to let us know what it was like while they were making this. Todd kept experiementing after this one, and is now the lead singer for "The New Cars" but he was never this amazing again, and I will always wonder why. Give it a listen!

Yeah, he's out with the New Cars now if you want to catch him. I remember thinking that the original Cars must have been Todd fans.
