My Greatest 100 (or so) Albums...

Check out, Al Green's Call Me! Some time around `69 or `70 Al hooked up with Willie Mitchell, a bandleader/record exec, and the two of them found a groove that would last through several albums and an never fade away. Call Me smokes through sweet soul songs like Call Me, Here I am (Come and Take Me) and You Ought To be With Me. `70's soul never got better than this (though we're gonna meet some candidates, including more Al). You're gonna love it if you don't already.
