My Greatest 100 (or so) Albums...

You'll be seeing more of these guys, too. The the first Clash album was the greatest punk record ever. This was was made while they were quickly growing out of punk and realized they had a ton of roads they could go down. There were actually two versions of this record. The English version, which you could only get on import over here prior to `79 and the American version, which came out in `79 - after their second album "Give `em Enough Rope" and not terribly long before another album you'll see here soon. Career Opportunities, Remote Control, Complete Control, White Man in Hammersmith Palais, I Fought the Law - just an unbelievably amazing debut. The hits would keep coming - but not nearly as long as they should have. They said release remote control but didn't want it on label...
