Giants Tomorrow!
Another trap game looms and Houston comes to town. To make matters worse, Plax's back has been acting up and he could be out. Hopefully, the injuries on O and D will create great focus for the healthy players and they won't look past the Texans.
On D, Stop the run. Carr is a good QB but he gets sacked a lot, and it will be the Giants' job to add to that total. Kiwi should get a couple, and Strahan should break his tie with LT. The DL's also need to watch out for the chopblocks, as Houston uses the Denver OL system.
On O, the Giants need to run the ball and avoid turnovers. It should be a big day for Shockey, and he hasn't really had one yet this year. It's important that they not throw away possessions with arrogant play calling early. First halfs have been unimpressive this year, but they can't let a bad team like Houston hang around. Control the ball and score.
On specials: don't give up returns and hit your kicks.
That's the recipe for avoiding the trap: Play Giants Football.
