Three Vincent Price flicks from before the Corman/Poe period. House of Wax, from 1954 was directed by Andre DeToth. This was the one that really got him going as a star of Horror movies. It was one of the biggest hits of the 3D era. The secong two came out in 1959 and were directed by William Castle
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/William_Castle who was know for his gimmicks. For example when the Tingler was released he equipped several theaters with equipment that would give viewers a low voltage electrical shock when the Tingler tingled! It was called Percepto. The flicks can make you tingle without it, though, and Castle's films always looked good. Happy Haunting!
